The petrol-powered 1.6, 2.0, 2.0 FSI and 2.0 TSI models deliver performances that will leave you breathless. While the diesel-powered 1.9 TDI and 2.0 TDI give a new power dimension to diesel engines – with the 1.9 TDI delivering 77 kW and the 2.0 TDI delivering a massive 103 kW.

Various models in the Jetta range are also available in Trendline, Comfortline and Sportline finishing.

The Jetta comes equipped with more power than ever before. DSG® technology (Direct Shift Gearbox), available on the 1.9 TDI and 2.0 TSI, uses two independent gearboxes which are linked to produce a swifter and more seamless transmission through every gear, and as a result delivers dynamic acceleration.

The TDI, FSI (Fuel Stratified Injection) and TSI (Turbo-charged Stratified Injection) engines offer greater fuel efficiency, with the latest fuel injection technology supplying each cylinder in the Jetta with a direct injection of fuel. This allows for a higher compression ratio, as opposed to an indirect manifold injection, enabling better performance and higher torque whilst reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

For the first time ever in a Jetta, a fully independent suspension system features a truly innovative multi-link rear axle. This improves agility and stability, which in turn creates harmonious and controlled movements on all kinds of road surfaces. This improved dynamic interplay between the front and rear axle allows for better contact between the wheels and the road, resulting in better handling, more driving comfort and driver control.
