Effortless Parking with Park Assist
The Volkswagen Polo, when equipped with the optional Park Assist¹ and parking distance warning system, takes the stress out of parking. As you drive past potential spaces, the system detects whether they’re large enough—and if so, it can steer the car into them for you². You remain in control of the clutch, accelerator, and brake while keeping an eye on your surroundings, and Park Assist takes care of the steering.

Key features include:

• Sensors scan for suitable parking spaces at speeds up to 40 km/h

• Parallel parking: requires one vehicle length plus 80 cm of maneuvering space

• Parking bays: must allow at least 35 cm of clearance on both sides

• Driving out of parallel spaces requires at least 25 cm in front and behind the vehicle
